Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein emphasized the government’s commitment to youth empowerment and readiness for emerging opportunities during a consultative meeting with Community-Based Organisations. This meeting, aimed at gathering public input for the state budget, is part of the government’s efforts to ensure inclusive and participatory planning processes. Mein, who oversees Finance, Planning, and Investment, highlighted the state government’s focus on aligning investments with long-term priorities through annual reviews and performance assessments.
The Deputy Chief Minister stressed the significance of initiatives such as women’s empowerment, healthcare system strengthening, education infrastructure improvement, sustainable livelihood promotion, and infrastructure development acceleration across districts. He acknowledged the progress made by Arunachal Pradesh in the past decade but emphasized the need for continuous monitoring, streamlined departments, and coordinated policy implementation to sustain growth. The meeting also discussed forward-looking projects like heritage village development and cultural tourism models to preserve traditions and boost economic opportunities.

He appreciated the valuable suggestions from Community-Based Organisations and assured that feasible recommendations would be considered in the upcoming state budget.
