Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K. T. Parnaik (Retd) highlighted the crucial role of Northeastern youth in shaping India’s Act East vision and the nation’s development goal by 2047. He urged them to combine innovation with the region’s cultural and ecological richness. The Governor stressed the Northeast’s significance as India’s gateway to Southeast Asia under the Act East Policy, offering vast opportunities for youth to enhance ties with neighboring countries.
The Governor called on young people to engage in border area development, promote national security awareness, green technologies, and digital entrepreneurship. He also emphasized the importance of preserving indigenous knowledge and cultural heritage while embracing modern advancements. Lt Gen Parnaik (Retd) addressed the three-day National Seminar on integrating traditional wisdom with modern governance in Guwahati, organized by Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Samiti, Assam, and Akhil Bharatiya Itihas Sankalan Yojana, New Delhi.
