Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd) met with Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan in New Delhi to discuss advancements in education, health, and social welfare in the state. The Governor conveyed the good wishes of the people of Arunachal Pradesh to the Vice President during the meeting.
He provided an overview of the state’s development, emphasizing the government’s commitment to contributing to the national vision of Viksit Bharat. The focus is on balanced growth, enhanced connectivity, human development, and equal opportunities for all segments of society. Lt. General Parnaik (Retd) also highlighted the security dynamics of the Northeastern States, particularly Arunachal Pradesh.
The Governor praised the youth of Arunachal Pradesh for their active involvement in entrepreneurship, respect for art and culture, and strong sense of nationalism. He mentioned that the energy, creativity, and discipline of the younger generation are crucial for the state’s transformation and future leadership. Additionally, he presented the Vice President with a book titled ‘Orchids of Arunachal Pradesh’, showcasing the state’s diverse orchid species.
The Governor extended an invitation to the Vice President to visit Arunachal Pradesh, which was graciously accepted. This meeting signifies the ongoing efforts towards the state’s progress and development.
