Arunachal Pradesh Shows Progress Across Various Sectors

Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen K.T. Parnaik (Retd) highlighted the state’s significant advancements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, connectivity, tourism, and rural development over the past decade. These improvements have laid a strong foundation for sustained growth.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu and the Governor discussed the state’s developmental priorities, key projects, and strategies to tackle challenges from natural disasters and climate-related issues. Lt Gen Parnaik praised the government’s people-centric approach for bringing governance closer to citizens, especially in remote areas.
The Governor commended initiatives like Seva Aapke Dwar, which has revolutionized public service delivery by ensuring government services reach people’s doorsteps. Such programs have enhanced public trust and promoted inclusive development.
Emphasizing the importance of technology-driven governance, Lt Gen Parnaik lauded the state’s progress in e-governance and digital service delivery. He advocated for the increased use of technology tools like geospatial applications, satellite imagery, and data analytics for effective planning and monitoring of developmental projects.
Highlighting the transformative power of books, the Governor presented a financial aid of Rs 2 lakh to Abotani Vidya Niketan to enhance the school’s library. He stressed the significance of reading in nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Encouraging students to cultivate a reading habit, Lt Gen Parnaik described books as lifelong companions that shape character, instill values, and open doors to new ideas and opportunities. He appreciated the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti for its dedication to promoting quality education through Abotani Vidya Niketan.
