Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, interacted directly with traders, shopkeepers, and business owners at a Punjab State Traders Commission (PSTC) meeting in Jalandhar. Kejriwal emphasized the government’s dedication to addressing the concerns of small traders through dialogue and responsive governance, contrasting it with past neglect and exploitation by previous administrations.
CM Mann highlighted Punjab’s shift towards transparent and development-focused governance under the AAP government, aiming to improve public welfare. He praised the government’s efforts in areas such as irrigation, employment, public services, and infrastructure, noting the positive impact on Punjab’s residents. Kejriwal commended the Mann government for its four-year tenure, noting the unprecedented direct engagement with the public and the positive reception received, unlike previous administrations.
Reflecting on a recent roadshow in Bathinda, Kejriwal shared the warm reception from the public, particularly traders, signaling a significant shift in public sentiment towards the AAP leadership. He underscored the historical neglect of small traders in policy discussions, emphasizing their crucial role in the state’s economy.
