Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal criticized the Central government for its handling of the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak. Kejriwal raised concerns about the government’s lack of action against the examination mafia and its failure to address the issue effectively.
Kejriwal highlighted the widespread corruption and political support contributing to the massive paper leak. He emphasized the impact on the lives of countless students affected by the leak and criticized the government for not acknowledging the extent of the students’ and families’ suffering.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) canceled the NEET examinations held on May 3 due to reported irregularities in the process. Kejriwal accused the government of repeated failures and negligence, citing previous instances of NEET paper leaks in 2017, 2021, 2024, and now in 2026.
Questioning the government’s ability to prevent leaks, Kejriwal demanded accountability for those responsible for the recurring incidents. He called for stringent action against officials overseeing the examinations, stressing the need for fair and transparent conduct.
Kejriwal, drawing from his own exam preparation experiences, empathized with the students and their families facing hardships. He urged affected students to stand up against the paper leak mafia and assured his support for their cause.
