Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Convener Arvind Kejriwal reached out to NEET aspirants upset over the canceled medical entrance exam, urging them to stay strong for the re-exam on June 21. Kejriwal expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response to his video on the issue, encouraging students to persevere in their aspirations to become doctors. He empathized with the students, acknowledging their trust and emotions shared with him.
In a video message, Kejriwal mentioned that over 50 lakh people viewed his previous video on the NEET controversy, with thousands of students reaching out to him. He reassured the students, considering them as his own children, and shared messages from distressed aspirants. Kejriwal emotionally responded to students’ concerns, offering words of encouragement and a mantra to strengthen their determination to achieve their goal of becoming doctors.
Responding to a student’s query on preventing paper leaks, Kejriwal emphasized the importance of honest governance in averting such incidents. He highlighted the track record of the Aam Aadmi Party in preventing exam paper leaks during its tenure and underscored the need for integrity in the system to maintain examination integrity. Kejriwal also addressed financial challenges faced by some aspirants, promising to discuss with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann the provision of free travel for Punjab students appearing for the re-exam.
