Asin Thottumkal, known for her roles in hit movies like Ghajini and Pokkiri, recently shared moments from her 10th wedding anniversary celebrations with her husband, businessman Rahul Sharma. The actress posted a sand art picture on Instagram with a caption marking “10 years and counting.” Additionally, she shared videos showcasing the romantic setup for the celebration, accompanied by the song “My Heart Will Go On” from Titanic.
Their daughter, Arin, also contributed to the celebration with a heartfelt note in one of the images, expressing love for her parents and referring to them as the best in the universe. Another video captured Rahul serenading Asin with John Legend’s “All of Me,” creating a joyous atmosphere during the event.
Asin, once hailed as the Queen of Kollywood, tied the knot with Rahul Sharma in January 2016 in a dual wedding ceremony. Following her marriage, she bid adieu to acting. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2017. Asin’s last appearance was in a 2015 romantic comedy film alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, and Supriya Pathak, titled after a song from the movie 3 Idiots.
Having started her acting journey at 15 in a Malayalam film, Asin gained fame with the Telugu movie Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi before achieving success in various Tamil blockbusters. She made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in Ghajini and later appeared in films like Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, and Khiladi 786.
