Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s establishment of a high-powered task force to fortify the nation’s examination system. Sarma emphasized that this step would promote transparency, integrity, and merit in public exams, crucial for fostering trust among students.

Sarma expressed his wholehearted support for PM Modi’s decision, highlighting the significance of a credible examination framework built on honesty and student trust. He commended the selection of Nandan Nilekani to lead the task force, citing his expertise in enhancing large-scale public systems to be more secure and citizen-focused.

The Chief Minister commended the committee members as distinguished individuals dedicated to national progress through innovation and perseverance. He extended his best wishes to the entire team, expressing confidence in their ability to contribute positively to India’s reform agenda.

Sarma voiced optimism about the task force’s impact, foreseeing a more robust, fair, and transparent examination process for students. He believed that this initiative aligns with India’s reform objectives and aims to deliver an equitable and merit-based evaluation system for all students.

The high-powered task force, established by the Central government in response to concerns about examination integrity, is tasked with proposing strategies to enhance the security, technology integration, and student-centric nature of the country’s examination system.
