Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that feedback from the ongoing Jana Ashirwad Yatra strongly favors the BJP, with constituents expressing a desire for the current government’s continuity. Sarma, having covered 12 Assembly constituencies, highlighted the overwhelming support, with crowds chanting “Phir ek baar, BJP sarkar.”
Sharing his experience from the yatra, Sarma emphasized the visible progress on the ground and the need to maintain momentum. He mentioned that the enthusiastic response reflects public trust in the BJP-led government’s developmental efforts, including infrastructure growth, connectivity enhancements, and welfare initiatives.
The Chief Minister described the Jana Ashirwad Yatra as a platform for direct citizen engagement, where concerns are heard, and the government’s commitment to inclusive development is reaffirmed. In Bihpuria, supporters welcomed Sarma and other party leaders, citing advancements in various sectors like roads, healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.
Sarma reiterated the government’s dedication to accelerating development work across Assam, emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to fulfilling the state’s aspirations with speed, scale, and sensitivity.
