In a move to support literary culture and nurture young talent, the Assam government has announced the Young Writers Award for 818 emerging writers as part of its Granthabarsha initiative. Each recipient will receive Rs 25,000 to aid their literary endeavors. This initiative aims to uphold Assam’s literary heritage and inspire a new wave of writers.
