Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika expressed confidence that the Congress party will not regain power in the state. Campaigning for NDA alliance candidate Tapan Das in the Dimoria assembly constituency, Hazarika emphasized that the people of Assam have lost trust in the Congress due to past governance and policies.

He accused the Congress of supporting illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, leading to public discontent. Hazarika highlighted the BJP-led government’s commitment to safeguarding indigenous rights, underscoring the importance of this issue.

Hazarika predicted a significant victory for NDA candidate Tapan Das, citing strong support at election rallies. He also praised Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s popularity among women voters, attributing it to welfare schemes and development initiatives.

Campaigning intensifies in Dimoria as Hazarika engages in multiple rallies, urging voters to back Das for continued progress. Tapan Das, present during the campaign, thanked supporters and vowed to address local concerns for the region’s advancement.
