Symbolizing unity and inter-service synergy, the Assam Rifles–Indian Coast Guard joint bike rally ended at the historic Pangsau Pass. The rally, named ‘Samudra se Parvat Tak,’ showcased national resolve and integration between India’s maritime and land-based forces. Pangsau Pass, located at 3,727 feet on the India–Myanmar border, served as the symbolic endpoint of the rally.
On the final day, the rally moved from Jairampur to Nampong Higher Secondary School, where participants engaged with students and locals. Motivational talks and films were presented to instill values of discipline and nation-building. The Deputy Inspector General of Assam Rifles oversaw the rally’s conclusion at Pangsau Pass, featuring a pipe band performance and interactions with local residents.
The joint bike rally emphasized inter-service coordination, youth engagement, and border outreach, promoting national integration from the seas to the mountains. Concurrently, the Indian Army launched ‘Mission Krishiveer’ in East Siang district to enhance farm-to-force linkage. Spearheaded by the Spear Corps, the initiative aims to connect local farmers directly with Army units for a steady supply of quality produce to troops while boosting farmers’ income.
