Atmy’s Central Command chief, Lt General Anindya Sengupta, assessed operational readiness and security measures at Headquarters Pashchim Uttar Pradesh Sub Area in Meerut. During the visit, he inaugurated new facilities like the Military Engineer Services Inspection Bungalow and Medical Inspection Room to improve living conditions and medical support for Army personnel. Lt General Sengupta also inspected the Equine Breeding Stud at Babugarh, focusing on advancements in equine operations and breeding practices.
The Army Commander praised the professionalism and dedication of all ranks, emphasizing the importance of innovation and adoption of niche technologies for maintaining a strategic operational advantage. Additionally, the Central Command provided details about the training drill of the paratroopers of the Shatrujeet Brigade, highlighting their rigorous preparation for high-risk engagements. Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth attended a Naval Civilian Function in New Delhi to recognize the contributions of Naval civilians in enhancing the Indian Navy’s operational efficiency.
