Two police personnel and six others sustained injuries in Peshawar, Pakistan, when unidentified assailants targeted three police facilities. The attacks occurred at Mattani and Badhber police stations and the Sra Khawra police checkpost. The assailants used hand grenades and advanced weapons during the assaults.

A senior police official reported that the Mattani police station faced a two-sided attack, while a hand grenade was thrown into the Badhber police station from Mera Mashokhel Road, injuring a police officer. Additionally, a police personnel and six individuals were wounded in a third attack at the Sra Khawra Police Checkpost. The attackers utilized modern gadgets, including Infrared cameras, and quickly fled the scene after the assault.

In a separate incident, seven individuals, including six police personnel, were killed in Kohat district when assailants targeted a police vehicle. The attackers also set the vehicle on fire following the attack. Moreover, three Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel lost their lives in an ambush on an ambulance in Karak, where injured personnel were being transported for treatment. Pakistan has experienced a surge in terrorist activities, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, since the termination of the ceasefire deal with the Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) in 2022.
