Actor Babil Khan celebrated Women’s Day by sending warm wishes to his mother, Sutapa Sikdar, whom he referred to as his first best friend. He shared three photos on Instagram capturing their joyful moments together. Babil expressed his admiration for his mother, acknowledging her as the woman who set the standard for all others to follow.
In his Women’s Day tribute, Babil lovingly described his mother as his first connection and the epitome of womanhood. He playfully recounted his struggle to tag her on social media, initially searching for “mamma” instead of her actual name, Sutapa Sikdar.
Apart from his personal life, Babil has been diligently preparing for an upcoming project that is scheduled to commence production in mid-2026. He dedicated time to training in the martial art of Muay Thai in Thailand, immersing himself in the techniques of this Thai-originated form of MMA.
Babil’s artistic journey began as a camera assistant in his late father Irrfan Khan’s film “Qarib Qarib Single.” Transitioning into acting, he made his debut in 2022 with the psychological drama “Qala,” where he starred alongside Triptii Dimri.
