The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) and Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on Pakistani forces and installations in various areas of Balochistan, as reported by local media. BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch stated that on April 22, fighters targeted a Pakistani military convoy in Awaran, resulting in casualties and damage to military vehicles. Additionally, BLF fighters attacked a Frontier Corps snap-checking point outside Basima Police Station on the same day, causing casualties and severe damage.
In a separate incident, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch mentioned that fighters took control of a police post in Sibi’s Lamji area, seizing weapons and vehicles. Following this, clashes occurred between the fighters and security personnel when Pakistani forces advanced towards the area, leading to casualties. Last week, BLF claimed responsibility for an attack on a military camp in Jhao and blocking a key highway in Kharan, warning transporters against supporting Pakistani forces.
The BLF’s recent operations included an attack on a military camp in Kohadu area of Jhao on April 12, resulting in casualties among military personnel. They also blocked Nourozabad Road in the Sarawan area of Kharan on April 14, holding control of the highway for several hours. The group issued warnings against aiding Pakistani forces, threatening direct targeting of those providing support.
