The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed that tickets for the IPL 2026 playoffs will be available for purchase from May 20. Royal Challengers Bengaluru have already secured a playoff berth with a victory over Punjab Kings. The remaining three spots will be contested among several teams including Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings, and others.
The tickets can be bought through the official IPL website and District by Zomato. The BCCI has organized a staggered ticket sales schedule to facilitate fan access and provide early booking benefits to RuPay cardholders. RuPay Credit Card holders will have a 24-hour priority window starting on May 20 to secure tickets for specific matches.
Exclusive access for Qualifier 2 and the Final will open on May 22. Qualifier 2 is scheduled for May 29 in New Chandigarh, while the final will be held on May 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The playoffs this year introduce a new format where the winner of Qualifier 1 will have an advantage, with both finalists required to play at a different venue in Ahmedabad.
After the priority period, Phase 1 non-exclusive ticket sales will begin. Tickets for certain matches will be available to the general public from specific dates. The playoffs for IPL 2026 promise an exciting twist with changes in venue arrangements for the finalists.
