The Bengal T20 League is back for its third season, showcasing top cricket talent from across the state in a series of thrilling T20 matches. Featuring 8 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams, the tournament is scheduled to run from June 5 to June 21, 2026, offering a month of intense competition and regional rivalries. Defending champions Adamas Howrah Warriors and Kolkata Royal Tigers are ready to defend their titles in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively.
The season commences on June 5 with the men’s match at Eden Gardens, where Adamas Howrah Warriors will face Novus Royals Purulia at 7:00 PM. The women’s tournament starts the following day, June 6, with Kolkata Royal Tigers taking on Novus Royals Purulia at 9:00 AM at the JU Salt Lake Campus.
Bablu Koley, the secretary of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), emphasized the importance of the league in nurturing local cricket talent. He highlighted the significance of T20 cricket in today’s landscape and the platform it provides for emerging players to showcase their skills and potentially progress to higher levels of the game. CAB aims to support and promote cricketers through this competitive platform.
