Bengaluru Bravehearts emerged victorious over Kolkata Banga Tigers with a 26-21 win, securing a spot in the semifinals of Season 2 of the Rugby Premier League. The match, held at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Hyderabad, saw an intense battle between the two teams.
In a thrilling encounter, Bengaluru took an early lead through Jonas Mikalcius, only to be matched by Kolkata’s Vuiviwa Naduvalo. The Bravehearts managed to maintain their lead at half-time, with Mikalcius shining for his team.
Despite Kolkata’s efforts to stage a comeback in the second half, Bengaluru’s strong defense and strategic play allowed them to hold onto their lead. Naduvalo’s impressive hat-trick was not enough to turn the tide in favor of the Tigers, as Bengaluru clinched a hard-fought victory.
Later in the day, Delhi Redz were scheduled to play against Mumbai Dreamers, while Chennai Bulls were set to face Hyderabad Heroes in the final match of the day.
