Five staff members from a Bengaluru daycare center are missing, accused of physically abusing toddlers. The accused individuals, named Manjula, Vijayalakshmi, Bhavani, Sindhu, and Bindu, are being sought by the police after videos of children being assaulted surfaced on social media. The HAL Police have filed a case against them, and investigations are ongoing.
Police officials have conducted an inspection at the daycare center, which was reportedly operating through an outsourced arrangement. Bengaluru Police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh has labeled the incident as “serious” and “heinous” after reviewing the disturbing videos. A Special Investigation Team has been formed to look into the matter.
Commissioner Singh emphasized the gravity of the situation and assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible. The focus of the investigation is on the alleged abuse, with authorities collecting evidence and statements from witnesses. Efforts are being made to locate and apprehend the accused individuals, who are currently evading authorities.
