Bengaluru FC is set to play against NorthEast United FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, while Kerala Blasters FC will host Mumbai City FC at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi in the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 on Sunday. Bengaluru FC enters the game following a 2-0 win over Sporting Club Delhi, with goals from Sunil Chhetri and N. Sivasakthi securing a strong start to their season.

Bengaluru FC’s head coach, Renedy Singh, stressed the importance of maintaining their winning streak and meeting home expectations by focusing on structured play in both attack and defense. NorthEast United FC, on the other hand, faced a 0-3 defeat against East Bengal FC and will aim to enhance their defensive strategies and offensive execution in their upcoming match.

NEUFC’s head coach, Juan Pedro Benali, acknowledged the challenges of playing at the Kanteerava and highlighted the need for his team to convert their defensive efforts into points. Bengaluru FC will aim to dominate possession and set the pace with their experienced players, while NorthEast United FC will focus on staying compact and seizing opportunities during transitions.

Kerala Blasters FC, coming off a loss to Mohun Bagan SG, will strive to secure their first points of the season as they face Mumbai City FC. The Blasters’ coach, David Català, emphasized the significance of defensive unity and offensive aggression for a more successful performance. Mumbai City FC, led by Petr Krátký, will look to continue their organized style of play and effective possession management in their quest for a positive outcome.

Both Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC are determined to establish early momentum in the league. Kerala aims to apply pressure and convert chances efficiently, while Mumbai seeks to maintain their structure and execute their game plan with precision. The clash in Kochi promises an intense battle as both teams strive for victory.
