Bengaluru FC successfully appealed against Braian Sanchez’s suspension, allowing him to play in the upcoming match against East Bengal. Sanchez received a red card during the game against Kerala Blasters, reducing Bengaluru to 10 men, which they lost 1-2. The appeal led to the red card being overturned to a yellow card, making Sanchez eligible for selection in the next fixture.
The club expressed gratitude to the All India Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee for the review process. Despite the setback of playing with 10 men, Bengaluru FC fought hard in the second half. However, Kerala Blasters managed to secure their first victory of the season. Bengaluru FC currently holds the fifth position in the standings with four wins in eight rounds.
