A 19-year-old student in Bengaluru has accused her boyfriend and his friend of drugging and gang-raping her earlier this month. The victim, a college student from Tamil Nadu studying journalism and psychology in Bengaluru, reported the incident to the Amruthahalli Police Station.
The accused, identified as Dickson Sandra and Nikhil, allegedly met the victim through Instagram and later lured her to a villa in Jakkur. The victim claimed that she was drugged with a tablet, lost consciousness, and was sexually assaulted by Sandra.
Following the assault, the victim managed to seek medical help and filed a complaint with the police against the accused. The police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and are conducting further investigations to take appropriate action.
