Bengaluru’s Hemanth Muddappa is set to compete in the final two rounds of the MMSC FMSCI Indian National Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship 2025 at the Madras International Circuit with a strong determination. Riding for Mantra Racing, the 15-time National champion is leading in two out of the four categories and is a strong contender in the other two, aiming to add more championships to his impressive record.

Muddappa, known as India’s “Drag King,” will be racing in the Unrestricted (Super Sport), 1051–1650cc, 851–1050cc, and 551–850cc Super Sport categories on his trusted superbikes – the Gen3 Hayabusa, BMW S1000RR, and Ninja 6R. The competition has been intense, highlighting Muddappa’s consistency and the rising challenge from other skilled riders.

Precision and execution will be crucial for Muddappa in the final rounds, where even the smallest time differences can determine the season’s outcome. His ability to handle pressure and deliver clean launches consistently has been a key factor in his success, and he is focused on maintaining that performance as the championship reaches its climax at the Madras International Circuit.

As the promoter Madras Motor Sports Club prepares to host the final showdown, all eyes are on Muddappa as he aims to further solidify his position as a dominant force in National drag racing, showcasing his pursuit of more titles in the sport.
