District Magistrate Nawal Kishor Choudhary of Bhagalpur emphasized the necessity of e-KYC and Aadhaar authentication for farmers to continue receiving benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme. Choudhary mentioned that a comprehensive plan has been devised to ensure all eligible farmers are registered through camps in all blocks and panchayats.
To streamline the payment process, registered farmers are encouraged to complete e-KYC either via mobile apps or at Common Service Centres. The district administration is actively engaging with farmers through camps to assist with e-KYC and registration procedures.
The DM conducted field visits to assess the progress of e-KYC and Farmer Registration among farmers in Bhagalpur. Direct interactions with farmers were held to gather feedback on the verification and registration processes. Timely completion of these formalities has been highlighted as a top priority by the administration.
Efforts are underway to carry out e-KYC and Farmer Registration across all blocks and panchayats in Bihar. Special camps are being organized in panchayats to facilitate the smooth completion of these processes for farmers. The authentication of farmers’ identities through Aadhaar aims to prevent duplication and ensure benefits reach the rightful recipients.
Farmers are urged to complete e-KYC and Farmer Registration promptly to avoid any disruptions in receiving PM-KISAN installments and other agricultural benefits. The integration of Aadhaar details with land records through Farmer Registration enhances transparency and efficiency in the distribution of government schemes.
