Bharat Buildcon 2026 — One Nation, One Expo, an exhibition for the building materials and construction industry, kicked off at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. The event’s opening day saw a significant turnout of over 25,000 visitors, including architects, builders, developers, contractors, manufacturers, traders, policymakers, and international buyers.
Participants from more than 90 countries and exhibitors from over 100 Indian cities are showcasing products and technologies across 24 segments at the event. These segments include ceramics and stone, hardware, cement and steel, plywood and laminates, furniture, sanitaryware, electricals, paints, and construction technologies.
Jitin Prasada, the Minister of State for Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, emphasized the importance of free trade agreements in creating opportunities for Indian industries globally. He highlighted the potential benefits of the India–UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement in enhancing market access and strengthening trade ties between the two nations.
