Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) announced a 4.61% rise in its consolidated net profit for the March quarter of FY26. The company’s net profit reached Rs 2,225.22 crore in Q4, up from Rs 2,127.04 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations also saw an 11.74% increase year-on-year, reaching Rs 10,224.43 crore in the reviewed quarter.
BEL’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 6% to Rs 2,982 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to Rs 2,816 crore in the previous year. However, the company’s operating profit margin decreased to 29.1% from 30.7% on an annual basis. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 0.55 per share for the financial year 2025-26.
For the full FY26, BEL reported a revenue of Rs 27,479.63 crore, marking a 16.15% growth over the previous year. The profit after tax (PAT) for FY26 stood at Rs 6,048.48 crore, showing a 14.38% increase from the previous financial year. BEL’s order book stood at Rs 73,882 crore as of April 1, 2026, as per the company’s filing.
In a recent development, BEL signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding with Metamind Systems Private Ltd and Kristellar Aerospace Private Ltd to collaborate on future technologies for defence and non-defence sectors. The agreement aims to leverage the technological strengths of the three firms for innovation and business growth.
