RJD MLC Sunil Kumar Singh raised concerns about the rising use of narcotics like cannabis, opium, and heroin in the state, highlighting it as a significant social challenge. This led to a contentious exchange between ruling alliance and opposition members, with differing views on drug abuse becoming apparent. The government reiterated its dedication to addressing both industrial revival and public welfare matters, promising a comprehensive examination of the raised concerns.
