Chief Minister of Bihar Samrat Choudhary recently visited Kaimur and Siwan districts, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for various development and welfare projects. In Kaimur, he launched 60 schemes across departments totaling about Rs 196.06 crore, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring welfare schemes reach all citizens. The Chief Minister also announced tourism and infrastructure projects for Kaimur, focusing on transparent and timely completion of development initiatives.
During his Siwan visit, Choudhary reviewed public welfare schemes, inaugurating projects worth around Rs 180 crore to expedite the district’s progress. He reiterated the government’s dedication to empowering marginalized communities and highlighted key initiatives, such as installing solar power systems in Dalit homes and creating job opportunities for 1 crore people by 2030. The Chief Minister stressed the importance of public participation and good governance in achieving a developed India and prosperous Bihar.
Chandravijay Prakash Yadav, son of former MP Omprakash Yadav, met the Chief Minister during the Siwan visit, requesting a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into two unsolved murder cases from the district. Yadav highlighted the need for a transparent investigation into the 2014 murder of BJP leader Shrikant Bharti and the 2025 murder of BJP supporter Roshan Kumar. He emphasized the importance of public confidence in law enforcement and justice for the victims’ families, urging the Bihar government to consider transferring the cases to the central agency.
