Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited his ancestral village, Kalyan Bigha in Nalanda district, to honor his mother Parameshwari Devi on her death anniversary. He offered floral tributes at her statue in the Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh Memorial Garden.
During the visit, Nitish Kumar also paid respects at the statues of his late father, Ramlakhan Singh, and late wife Manju Sinha. His elder brother, son, and other family members joined him in this tribute. Nishant Kumar, his son, interacted with locals during the event.
Prominent leaders like Rural Development Minister Shravan Kumar and MP Kaushlendra Kumar, among others, attended the occasion. Nitish Kumar also visited the Bhagwati Temple in Kalyan Bigha, praying for Bihar’s peace and prosperity. His presence brought joy to the residents and he engaged with locals to understand their concerns.
