Kishan scored 77 runs off 40 balls, setting the stage for India’s victory over Pakistan at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Following the match, Nitish Kumar took to social media to extend his congratulations to the Indian cricket team and specifically highlighted Kishan’s contribution. He commended Kishan for his outstanding performance and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary also lauded the Indian team for their remarkable 61-run win against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. Choudhary emphasized that the victory was a moment of pride for the entire nation.
India’s bowlers, including Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakravarthy, played a pivotal role in restricting Pakistan to 114 runs. With this victory, India secured a spot in the Super 8 stage of the tournament, marking their dominance in the T20 World Cup.
