Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced plans to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technologies into the State Assembly to enhance efficiency and transparency. Speaking at an orientation program for state MLAs, he emphasized the importance of technology in governance, stating that AI adoption would strengthen democratic institutions. Choudhary urged legislators to familiarize themselves with Assembly procedures and play a proactive role in the state’s development.
Highlighting the significance of legislators beyond Assembly sessions, Choudhary stressed the need for them to address public issues diligently, represent their constituencies effectively, and facilitate constructive debates. He underscored the equal importance of both ruling and opposition parties in upholding democratic values. Referring to national and state development goals, he called for collective efforts to achieve progress through government-legislator coordination.
The Chief Minister also mentioned Bihar’s progress in infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnership models, emphasizing the state’s commitment to enhancing public service delivery. He announced the launch of 213 new degree colleges to expand higher education access and contribute to Bihar’s long-term growth. The orientation program, attended by key dignitaries, aims to equip legislators with essential knowledge for effective governance.
