Bihar’s ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) and the BJP have affirmed their commitment to a fair investigation in the Bharat Tiwari encounter case under the state’s ‘sushasan’ (good governance) framework. The JD-U spokesperson mentioned that the state government is taking the matter seriously and has initiated necessary actions. A probe committee led by a retired High Court judge is investigating the sequence of events to ensure justice for all involved.
Party MP Devesh Chandra Thakur advised against rushing to conclusions and emphasized waiting for the investigation’s outcome. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain also assured that justice would be served in the case. The Bihar government has intensified its investigation, utilizing scientific and judicial methods to ensure a thorough and impartial inquiry.
Senior police officials mentioned that modern forensic and scientific techniques are being employed to examine the encounter circumstances. The investigation includes analysis by the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), scrutiny of digital and physical evidence, and review of video footage. A judicial inquiry commission, led by a retired High Court judge, has been formed to conduct an independent probe into the incident.
