After a crackdown on illegal construction by the BJP government in West Bengal, party MLAs alleged corruption by the previous Trinamool Congress administration. Following a fatal fire incident in a multi-storey building in Kolkata, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation officials arrived to demolish the damaged structure.
