The BJP criticized Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, for engaging in what they termed as “anti-India” activities during his visit to Germany. BJP National Spokesman Sudhanshu Trivedi, speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, raised concerns about Gandhi’s participation in a meeting of the Global Progressive Alliance, which the party described as a network opposed to India’s interests and allegedly linked to George Soros’s network.
Trivedi demanded an investigation into Gandhi’s international connections and activities during his Germany trip. He highlighted Gandhi’s meeting with Cornelia Woll from the Central European University, funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundation. Trivedi also pointed out that Sam Pitroda, when questioned about the Global Progressive Alliance’s ties to the Congress, disclosed Gandhi’s leadership role within the organization.
Questioning the Congress party about its claimed alliance with 110 countries, Trivedi noted discrepancies in the democratic nature of many nations mentioned. He raised concerns about Gandhi potentially promoting an international narrative against India, citing his frequent foreign travels and critical statements made abroad. Trivedi also mentioned Gandhi’s meeting with Berlin-based Hertie School professor, Woll, who is alleged to be involved in activities against India.
