Reacting to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s suggestion of a conspiracy in Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s air crash death, BJP Delhi President Virendra Sachdeva criticized her, questioning the depth of her political tactics. Sachdeva deemed Banerjee’s remarks during this sorrowful time as inappropriate.
Expressing deep sorrow over Ajit Pawar’s passing, Sachdeva highlighted the significant loss to Maharashtra and Indian politics. He described Ajit Pawar as a popular leader who had dedicatedly served the state, including his tenure as Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Sachdeva emphasized the irreparable nature of the loss, praying for strength for Ajit Pawar’s family during this challenging period. Meanwhile, Banerjee, en route to an event in Hooghly’s Singur, suggested that Ajit Pawar was considering leaving the NDA and rejoining the Opposition’s INDIA bloc.
Banerjee expressed skepticism towards central investigation agencies, advocating for a Supreme Court-monitored probe to uncover the truth behind the plane crash. She highlighted the lack of safety for political leaders and the need for an impartial investigation.
