As Assam gears up for the 2026 Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up its organizational activities. The party’s National Working President, Nitin Nabin, recently visited Guwahati to participate in crucial party meetings aimed at boosting morale and enhancing grassroots engagement.
During his visit, Nabin attended the BJP Assam State Executive Meeting and the State Core Committee meeting, where Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma welcomed him. Nabin commended the dedication and dynamism of the party cadre, highlighting their pivotal role in the BJP’s progress in the state.
Addressing the party members, Nabin emphasized the importance of strengthening connections at the booth level and effectively conveying the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the accomplishments of the NDA government to the public. He urged party workers to bring the BJP’s development agenda and welfare schemes to the grassroots level to maintain voter support.
Chief Minister Sarma reiterated the party’s commitment to responsive governance, development, and organizational coherence during the State Executive Meeting. The discussions focused on enhancing booth-level readiness, coordinating party wings, and ensuring efficient communication of government programs to the populace.
