BJP leader Abhishek Kumar Sinha ‘Bunty’ decided to withdraw his candidacy for the Bankipur by-poll in Bihar to uphold his parents’ reputation linked to the 1990s fodder scam. Despite stepping back from the race, Sinha affirmed his commitment as a dedicated party worker, emphasizing his loyalty to the BJP. He expressed full support for the party’s leadership decisions and vowed to assist Neeraj Sinha’s campaign wholeheartedly.
Sinha, a long-standing booth-level BJP worker, assured that he would actively contribute to ensuring Neeraj Sinha’s victory in the upcoming election. Emphasizing his dedication to the party, he pledged to engage with voters extensively to secure a substantial win margin. Sinha reiterated his willingness to carry out party assignments diligently, highlighting his intrinsic work ethic and dedication as a party worker.
During a meeting with BJP national president Nitin Nabin, Sinha indicated no resentment over his withdrawal from the electoral race. Nabin commended Sinha’s past efforts and encouraged him to persist in his hard work without any reservations. Sinha, reflecting on his 26-year tenure as a booth-level worker, affirmed his commitment to fulfilling the party’s entrusted responsibilities and maintaining his loyalty to the BJP.
Addressing the controversy surrounding his father’s involvement in the past, Sinha clarified that he was merely 12 years old at the time, emphasizing his extensive service to the party over the years. Despite the withdrawal from the Bankipur Assembly by-election, Sinha affirmed his dedication to fulfilling any responsibilities assigned by the party with unwavering commitment. The BJP subsequently named Neeraj Sinha as its candidate for the by-poll, setting the stage for a competitive electoral contest.
