BJP leader K. Annamalai criticized Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for his comments on the delimitation process, calling them unnecessary and aimed at spreading fear. Annamalai stated that the Modi government is inclusive in its approach and dismissed Stalin’s concerns as creating unwarranted anxiety among the public.
Stalin had expressed concerns about the delimitation process potentially affecting southern states negatively. He warned of protests if the region’s interests were compromised and questioned the timing of the upcoming Special Session of Parliament coinciding with state elections.
Annamalai accused Stalin of trying to instigate fear and discord among the people of Tamil Nadu. He highlighted the efforts made by the Prime Minister to address the issue of women’s reservation in Parliament and criticized the Chief Minister for his confrontational stance.
