BJP leaders in West Bengal are optimistic about a political transformation as the state conducts the second phase of Assembly elections. They attribute this change to the active participation of the people. Rahul Sinha from the BJP highlighted the public’s determination to bring about this change despite efforts by the Trinamool Congress to hinder them through various means.
Expressing similar views, BJP MLA Sanjay Upadhyay anticipates a significant voter turnout in the second phase, emphasizing the support of the people for the BJP. The ongoing elections in West Bengal are closely monitored for the voter turnout’s reflection of the state’s political atmosphere.
In a separate development, Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly, displayed confidence in his electoral prospects in the Bhabanipur Assembly constituency. Adhikari interacted with voters at a polling booth within the constituency and expressed assurance of a favorable outcome, citing peaceful polling conditions.
Adhikari also raised concerns over alleged irregularities, pointing out an incident where the EVM button for the BJP candidate was reportedly tampered with at a polling booth in Falta. He informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the issue, and the Election Commission of India has been notified for necessary action.
The electoral battle in West Bengal intensifies as both political factions exhibit confidence in their respective positions during the ongoing polling process.
