Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders have shown optimism regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing five-nation tour, believing it will lead to a diplomatic resolution to the global fuel crisis stemming from the West Asia conflict. PM Modi’s visit, spanning May 15 to 20, includes stops in the UAE, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, with a focus on enhancing India’s strategic and economic ties across various sectors such as energy, defense, and technology.
BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal emphasized the significance of PM Modi’s visit amidst the West Asia conflict, stating that it will enable India to assert its stance strongly in the countries visited. This, he believes, will bolster India’s position on the global stage. Bihar Minister Ram Kripal Yadav highlighted the importance of the UAE visit, considering the substantial Indian population residing and working there, as part of the Prime Minister’s efforts to reinforce diplomatic relations.
Referring to PM Modi’s call for reduced fuel consumption due to surging oil prices, Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal noted the initiation of this initiative in response to the Prime Minister’s appeal. He underscored PM Modi’s diplomatic efforts to address the issue by engaging with Gulf nations and other countries. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana emphasized PM Modi’s approach of prioritizing India’s interests in his interactions with other nations, foreseeing positive outcomes for the country in terms of international relations and trade.
BJP MP Rahul Sinha echoed the sentiment that PM Modi’s visit holds significance in improving the global scenario and enhancing India’s diplomatic connections worldwide. He expressed confidence that the visit will contribute significantly to promoting world peace. Reflecting on the progress in India’s diplomatic relations under PM Modi’s leadership, BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana highlighted the increased willingness of nations like Russia, the US, the Middle East, and the EU to invest in India, attributing this shift to the Prime Minister’s vision.
