Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Balmukund Acharya from Jaipur’s Hawa Mahal Assembly constituency has raised concerns over an alleged “love jihad” incident. A Hindu girl from Ajmer was reportedly taken to Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, by a man from another community, prompting Acharya to intervene.
Acharya, while returning from Bhilwara, was informed about the situation by Ajmer residents. He immediately contacted police officials in Ajmer and Mathura to ensure the girl’s safety. The BJP MLA shared video evidence on social media, emphasizing the need for swift action in such cases.
Describing the incident as a “well-planned conspiracy,” Acharya highlighted the importance of protecting Sanatani daughters. He called for strict measures against such acts and demanded police protection for the victim’s family. Acharya stressed that ensuring the safety of daughters is a top priority for him and the Rajasthan-led BJP government.
Acharya’s intervention led the Rajasthan Police to form a special team to locate the girl in Mathura. Senior Mathura Police officials confirmed efforts to recover the girl. The Ajmer Police were instructed to provide security to the victim’s family, as Acharya reiterated his commitment to upholding the Constitution, law, and Sanatan values.
