BJP MLAs Sworn in as Ministers in West Bengal Cabinet Expansion

A total of 35 BJP MLAs were sworn in as ministers at Lok Bhavan in West Bengal, expanding the Cabinet led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. The newly-inducted ministers expressed their commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the people and revitalizing ‘Sonar Bangla’. BJP leader Dipak Barman described the occasion as a unique experience, emphasizing the responsibility and trust bestowed upon them by the Chief Minister.

Another BJP leader, Dudh Kumar Mondal, highlighted the end of Anubrata Mondal’s chapter and the increasing support for BJP across West Bengal. The new government’s responsibilities were underscored by Dipak Barman, emphasizing the need to meet the expectations of the people who brought the BJP to power. The Cabinet’s representation of the entire state was seen as a step towards development and welfare across all regions of West Bengal.

BJP MLA Swapan Dasgupta likened the current situation to a rebuilding phase, emphasizing the need to progress beyond the initial stages. Union Minister of State Shantanu Thakur expressed confidence in the government’s alignment with the vision of development set by the Centre. BJP leader Ajay Kumar Poddar stressed the importance of fulfilling people’s aspirations and rebuilding ‘Sonar Bangla’ with the collective effort of all citizens.

BJP MLA Anandamay Barman highlighted the significance of ensuring welfare schemes reach the grassroots level under the new government. The success of the BJP in West Bengal was credited to the people by BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh, emphasizing the citizens’ role in bringing about change. The government’s focus on progress and prosperity for Bengal was reiterated by Tapas Roy, setting a clear agenda for the future.

Rajya Sabha MP Anant Maharaj expressed optimism about the future under the new administration, foreseeing positive changes ahead. The strong mandate for change received by the BJP government in West Bengal was acknowledged by Rajya Sabha MP Harsh Vardhan Shringla, emphasizing the government’s capability to drive significant progress. BJP MP Raju Bista highlighted the importance of the Cabinet expansion as a crucial moment for the state, signaling a new phase of development.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar emphasized the government’s commitment to accelerating Bengal’s development under the leadership of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, aligning with the vision to transform Bengal into ‘Sonar Bangla’.
