A total of 35 BJP MLAs were sworn in as ministers at Lok Bhavan in West Bengal, expanding the Cabinet led by Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. BJP MLA Anandamay Barman highlighted the significance of ensuring welfare schemes reach the grassroots level under the new government. The success of the BJP in West Bengal was credited to the people by BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh, emphasizing the citizens’ role in bringing about change. Rajya Sabha MP Anant Maharaj expressed optimism about the future under the new administration, foreseeing positive changes ahead. Meanwhile, BJP MP Jagannath Sarkar emphasized the government’s commitment to accelerating Bengal’s development under the leadership of Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari, aligning with the vision to transform Bengal into ‘Sonar Bangla’.
