BJP MP Anurag Thakur criticized Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of being the “Leader of Propaganda or Leader of opposing Bharat.” Thakur expressed disappointment over Congress’s lack of seriousness towards the West Asia conflict. He highlighted that during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement in the Lok Sabha, Opposition leaders were absent, showing a lack of seriousness on their part.
Thakur further pointed out that Congress’s absence during critical issues like surgical strikes and delegations sent by PM Modi reflects their mindset. He alleged that Congress leans towards Pakistan’s ideology rather than India’s. Additionally, Thakur appealed for the rollback of a recently passed Bill in Himachal Pradesh imposing a cess on petrol and diesel, blaming the Congress for introducing burdensome policies.
The BJP MP criticized the Congress for increasing VAT and implementing a new cess, burdening the residents of Himachal Pradesh. He highlighted the state’s significant debt and the additional financial strain on the people due to increased taxes. Thakur emphasized that the Congress government has failed to fulfill its promises, leading to economic challenges for the state.
