BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal criticized the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for alleged violence during the West Bengal elections. Maliwal highlighted recurring disturbing visuals from West Bengal during elections, not limited to the current phase. She accused TMC of promoting intimidation, attributing BJP’s rise in Bengal to TMC’s behavior.
Maliwal also targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for boycotting the election process. She questioned AAP’s political stance and criticized AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s approach, likening it to a child’s behavior. Maliwal disapproved of Kejriwal’s recent actions, questioning the purity of his ‘Satyagraha’ and labeling it as disruptive to political discourse.
Furthermore, Maliwal defended Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma against recent criticisms, highlighting the challenges faced by women in the judiciary. She condemned inappropriate comments made by AAP leaders, particularly regarding personal lives, emphasizing the need for respectful discourse in politics. Maliwal concluded by expressing concerns over AAP’s shift towards personal attacks rather than constructive politics.
