As Holi, the festival of colors and joy, is being celebrated, BJP’s Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan advised people to observe it traditionally and harmoniously. He emphasized avoiding chemical colors and opting for abeer and gulal instead, highlighting the festival’s message of ending conflicts and promoting love and unity.
During the celebrations, Kishan cautioned against using chemical colors, urging the use of abeer or gulal for a conflict-free Holi. He stressed the importance of spreading love and playing Holi with affection, encouraging everyone to maintain harmony and avoid disputes.
Looking ahead to the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, Kishan took a swipe at the opposition, expressing confidence in the BJP’s performance. He predicted a significant victory, hinting at surpassing the 2017 records and advised the opposition to prepare for a tough defeat.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended warm wishes to the state residents on the occasion of Holi. Emphasizing the festival’s significance in promoting social equality and harmony, he highlighted the values of joy and peace that Holi brings to people’s lives. Adityanath called for dignified celebrations, urging everyone to uphold the sanctity of festivals and combat negative behaviors.
In his Holi message, Adityanath invoked Lord Shri Ram’s blessings for happiness, prosperity, and peace, encouraging a spirit of new energy and enthusiasm among all. He stressed the importance of fighting against unrighteousness and injustice, aligning with the festival’s message of righteousness prevailing over evil.
To mark the festivities, the Chief Minister visited the Gorakhpur Gaushala, where he interacted with calves, feeding them jaggery and applying gulal, symbolizing love and compassion towards all living beings.
