BJP National President Nitin Nabin criticized the Congress party, accusing the Nehru-Gandhi family of prioritizing personal and political interests over national welfare. Nabin labeled Rahul Gandhi as the “poster boy of negative politics” and blamed the family for compromising India’s interests over the years.
Speaking in Patna, Nabin highlighted instances of compromise by the Nehru-Gandhi family, alleging that they protected their own interests while disregarding those of the country. He criticized Jawaharlal Nehru’s statement that the nation’s people were his liability, calling it a deception.
Nabin further alleged that Nehru’s secretariat had close ties with foreign agencies, pointing out instances like India’s rights in Tibet being relinquished to China without benefit. He accused Rajiv Gandhi of misusing defense services for personal gain, citing examples like the Bofors scandal and the Bhopal gas tragedy.
Highlighting Sonia Gandhi’s role, Nabin claimed she operated as a “super Prime Minister” from 2004 to 2014, influencing government decisions through the National Advisory Council. He raised concerns about funding received by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation from foreign sources during this period.
Nabin criticized Rahul Gandhi’s foreign engagements, citing over 247 trips with alleged undisclosed meetings with foreign associates. He expressed worries about compromised missions under Rahul’s leadership, stating that misleading the youth could have serious consequences for the country.
The BJP leader warned that the Congress party’s compromised actions would face consequences from the Indian public in due time. Nabin emphasized that accountability for compromising national interests would be demanded by the people when necessary.
