Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin slammed Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, likening him to the ‘Rahu’ of Indian politics for allegedly tarnishing the political environment. This response followed Gandhi’s accusations against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Rae Bareli.
Nabin, addressing a press conference, labeled Rahul Gandhi as the ‘Rahu’ of Indian Politics, accusing him of polluting the country’s political climate. He criticized Gandhi’s statement as “unfortunate,” emphasizing that it not only disrespected PM Modi but also offended the entire population of India.
The BJP chief expressed his belief that Rahul Gandhi’s remarks reveal an “anarchist mentality.” Nabin highlighted the importance of decency, social harmony, and mutual respect in Indian politics, condemning Gandhi’s continuous defeats and frustrations as evident in his words.
Nabin condemned the Congress party, alleging that Gandhi’s ancestors prioritized mortgaging the nation over supporting the defense forces. However, he commended PM Modi’s leadership for enhancing national security and strengthening public morale. Nabin also accused the Congress of engaging in corruption whenever in power and credited PM Modi for curbing terrorist activities in the country.
