Bharatiya Janata Party National President, Nitin Nabin, conducted detailed discussions with party MPs, MLAs, former legislators, and former DDC members in Jammu. He focused on enhancing public outreach and bolstering the party at the grassroots level. Concluding his two-day visit, Nabin began his day at Keshav Bhavan, meeting with RSS functionaries before leading a conference and a State Core Group meeting at the Trikuta Nagar headquarters.
During a meeting at Keshav Bhavan, Nabin engaged in crucial talks with RSS leaders. Subsequently, he chaired a gathering of sitting MLAs, ex-legislators, DDC members, and local panchayat heads, providing actionable directives to expand the party’s grassroots presence. At the State Core Group Meeting, discussions revolved around the party’s strategic political objectives in the Union Territory.
Nabin also participated in a Yuva Samwad, interacting with young party workers and encouraging them to actively engage with the youth in the region. Before departing for New Delhi, he visited the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine to offer his respects. BJP leader and MLA, R.S. Pathania, informed the media that Nabin engaged in over 2-hour-long discussions with MPs, MLAs, party leaders, and former legislators and DDC members.
Pathania highlighted that the party president issued new directives to enhance the party’s public outreach efforts. He emphasized that party workers and elected members should meet every beneficiary of national flagship programs to educate them about the benefits facilitated by the strong central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Addressing the potential of a BJP government in J&K, Pathania clarified that the party’s current role is that of the Opposition and emphasized that they would not destabilize the existing government.
Nabin concluded his inaugural two-day visit to J&K as BJP President, underscoring the party’s commitment to grassroots empowerment.
